Wonderfully Made Craft Studio, located in North Fort Worth, is a hidden creative gem for adults and kids alike. Owner, and mom to young children, Amy says the craft studio is, “…your space to spread out and let your creativity shine as you work on your own craft and art projects or learn something new in one of our classes.” Amy herself loves to craft and wanted a place to enjoy her hobby outside of her home. Wonderfully Made Craft Studio started to make her dream a reality, and we are so excited to support this small business!

Front crafting room

Clean, comfortable and bright, this wonderful space offers many different options: open studio time, classes, Make ‘n’ Takes for kids 6 and under, and even hosting large groups or birthday parties! Each month, Amy posts a new calendar with the current class options. This is where we found our Make ‘n’ Take class days/times. We tried out a class, $5 per child, and loved it so much we returned the following week.

Make ‘n’ Take room

The Make ‘n’ Takes are geared for 6 and under, but siblings of all ages are invited to attend. I love that my 2 and 4-year-old were both able to be involved in this class at the same time. Taking one to watch the other participate is the worst!

When we arrived for our class, Amy cheerfully greeted us at the entrance and checked us in. Each Make ‘N Take class can accommodate up to 12 kids, so I HIGHLY encourage you to purchase your tickets online in advance. Since it was our first class, we were given a quick tour and then ushered to the back room with the other kids. Great news if you have a little runner: the room is fully enclosed! Upon arrival, Play-Doh is set out for the kids to enjoy while they wait for class to start.

Our one hour class included two different art projects, a read aloud, a little dance/music time and a LOT of fun. The kids were engaged and excited about the activities. I loved that they provide smocks (wearing your favorite outfit is still not encouraged) and most of all, someone else is in charge of craft time! (Parents: come prepared to enjoy the art activities with your kids and be a helping hand to their creations.) Amy did an excellent job of transitioning from one activity to another and it was no problem when my youngest decided she was all done and needed a snack. The whole experience provided enough clear instruction for structure, but the flexibility to relax and have fun.

In the words of my 4-year-old, she cannot wait to go back for, “arting, dancing and all the stuff I LOVE!”  I can’t wait to go back for all of those things, too.

Join us for the next Make ‘n’ Take at Wonderfully Made Craft Studio!

  1. Thank you so much for checking us out and letting others know about us! Is it awful that I’m just as thrilled that you said the cleanliness of the bathroom was ‘excellent’ as I am that the kids had fun?? I just really treat the studio like my home and I want you all to feel like my guests!
